I read this book for my Conceptual Science class and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's one of few textbooks I had a lot of fun while reading (generally, I avoid reading textbooks). The book integrates branches of science, from physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, to earth sciences. So if you're interested in science, even if you have no background in it, you should try this book. It's not the kind of science book that makes you frown, trying to understand what the heck the author is talking about. There's also an example in the beginning of each chapter to help you get the main point of the chapter. So no worries, this book is very easy to digest.
